Southeast Michigan Flute Association

Cadenza

In music, cadenzas provide soloists an opportunity to improvise; to explore, express, and evolve. When the COVID-19 global pandemic brought live events to a standstill, the Southeast Michigan Flute Association, along with artists everywhere, realized the time to improvise was here. SEMFA is proud to present Cadenza, an online format of events spanning from workshops, masterclasses, and performances, to casual virtual cocktail hours, and online studio classes. The SEMFA Board of Directors is hard at work creating an exciting schedule of virtual events, to keep promoting the advancement and appreciation of the flute and flute playing in Southeast Michigan (and so much further beyond!), and encouraging members to explore, express, and evolve until we can play again together.
