Mass Flute Choir 2022

There will be Mass Flute Choir performances of "Let There Be Peace on Earth" by Jill Jackson-Miller & Sy Miller, arranged by John Wernega, and " A Flutist's Happy Birthday" arranged and edited by Ervin Monroe. The Mass Flute Choir will be conducted by Dr. Deborah Ash. If you would like to request a specific part ahead of the festival, please email Debbie. There will be one rehearsal on the morning of the festival, and the performances will be included in the SEMFA Members' Showcase.

The Annual Festival Mass Flute choir is a single large-scale performance flute choir comprised of SEMFA members. This is your opportunity to perform at the SEMFA Festival! The Festival Mass Flute Choir will rehearse in the morning of the Festival, October 5, 2019, then perform in the afternoon at the conclusion of the SEMFA Members Showcase.

The Mass Flute Choir performance piece will be "Hopak” by Peter Senchuk for Piccolo, 4 C flutes, Alto flute, and Bass flute, Contrabass Flute and published by Forest Glade Music Publishing.  All flutists attending the festival are welcome to join in the Mass Flute Choir.

All performers in the Mass Flute Choir must be current SEMFA members at the time of the festival and pay the festival registration fee. To receive an advance part, sign up today! Questions? Please email
