Featured Guest Artist, PANdemonium4

The Southeast Michigan Flute Association is pleased to welcome PANdemonium4, a professional flute quartet, to present a recital and chamber music masterclass Sunday, February 25, 2018 2:00 p.m. at The Living Word Church, LCMS, 26500 N. Territorial Road, Plymouth, MI 48170


PANdemonium4, a newly formed quartet of Ohio-based teacher-performer professionals, represents a diverse group of universities across the state. We share a mutual respect for one another and a desire to make an impact on the future of chamber music collaborations within the setting of the quartet. PANdemonium 4 is Kimberlee Goodman, Lindsey Goodman, Lisa Jelle, and Alison Brown Sincoff. 

2017 marked the debut of PANdemonium4 with performances at Ohio State (Athens), Capital University (Bexley, OH), and the National Flute Association Convention (Minneapolis, MN), featuring works by Eric Ewazen, Ingolf Dahl, David L. McIntyre, and Carl Derfler.

Chamber Music Masterclass Details

The Chamber Music Masterclass with PANdemonium4 is open to any current SEMFA Members. All flutists within the ensemble must be current SEMFA Members. Chamber Ensembles may be with or without piano. All combinations are welcome except flute and piano duos. All applicants must be available to perform at the event at the Church of the Living Word on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Three winners and one runner-up will be selected through a recorded preliminary round audition. The three winners will perform in the masterclass for our guest artists PANdemonium4 on Sunday, February 25, 2018, and each winner will be given 30 minutes to work with PANdemonium4 during the masterclass. In the event that a winner cannot appear at this event, the runner-up will be offered their performance spot.  

To apply, download and fill-out the application form HERE and submit a recording of what they intend to perform for the class with a maximum of 10-12 minutes. Applications will only be accepted via email at with "SEMFA Competition" in the subject line.  The deadline for the preliminary round of this competition is Friday, February 2nd, 2018 at 11:59:59pm.  Winners will be notified by Friday, February 12th, 2018. $25 application fee, $100 performance fee for ensemble.
